Sales / Business Development ProfessionalWellData are currently looking to recruit an established sales person, to join our fast growing commercial team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience of face to face sales, selling to various different types of clients. An understanding of databases and IT systems would be an advantage, though not essential.
The most essential requirement is versatility, although initially this role will cover only ‘new sales’, as the role progresses there will be a requirement for business development, account management and service delivery, this role is not a standard sales position.
This role is based at our office in Kingston upon Thames and will initially involve travel around the UK, so a current driving license is a must. There will be opportunity for worldwide travel at a later date for those interested in this.

Database AdministratorCandidate will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, advancement, tuning, business continuity planning, backup and recovery testing of Oracle and SQL Databases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other database administrators, application administrators, product developers, and product management to support the maintenance and advancement of databases and applications in a very large database, high volume on line transaction processing environment.
- Take accountability for the success of team objectives and manage multiple projects simultaneously including performance tuning, 24x7 monitoring, backups, recoveries, capacity planning and the ability to learn and implement advanced database technologies.
Extensive knowledge of relational databases including Oracle 8/9/10, SQL Server 2000/2005.
Experienced with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Solaris 10.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to plan work to meet deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), customer service-oriented.
- Strong problem solving skill set, and the ability to understand new technologies quickly are essential.
- Experience monitoring database management systems as well as evaluating database performance to maximize efficiency.
